NeuroTexas, which is focused on neurosurgery, was founded in Austin by Drs Mark Burnett, Douglas Fox and K. Michael Webb.  In 2011 Dr. James Waldron joined the practice and enhanced the endovascular services that NeuroTexas offered, further validating the team’s reputation as providers of excellence in neurosurgical care.  Minimally-invasive surgery has been a major focus for NeuroTexas in recent years.  We believe in providing the most advanced technologies along with the highest quality care to our patients. Our neurosurgeons pride themselves on a compassionate, conservative approach to patient care and treat each of their patients on an individual basis.  We recognize that there is not one solution that fits every patient and sometimes the best treatment is no surgery at all.

Within NeuroTexas we have focused centers of excellence.  Our Center for the Treatment of Spinal Disorders treats all disorders of the spine utilizing the newest techniques, including minimally invasive and image guided technology.  Our Brain and Neuro-oncology Center provides fully integrated care for the most challenging brain tumors using both surgery and radiosurgery.  Our Center for the Treatment of Brain Aneurysms and Cerebrovascular Disease utilizes both endovascular techniques and open surgery to treat these complex conditions.  Rounding out our neurosurgical excellence our neurosurgeons are also trained to treat peripheral nerve disorders including brachial plexus injuries and carpal tunnel.

In addition to Southwest Medical Village we have multiple locations across the Central Texas region including Central Austin, Cedar Park, Lakeway, Round Rock, San Marcos, La Grange and Horseshoe Bay to service our patients.  Our neurosurgeons are currently accepting new patients and accept most major commercial health care plans.  Please check our website for more details www.neurotexas.net.
